SNAP SHOT 194
it depends who insures your machinery, eg differing companies have different ranges...................here i ireland it's normally between 7 and 20 miles depending who you get a quote from
cumbye 36
I use NFU, i cant see anywhere in the policy that says of a distance. Think you"d have to have a right bast**d of a copper to be so petty as to pick you up on it.I take my quad on joint meets to packs out of the county. Its never crossed my mind/never will
Bluelungbutter 1
To be using agricultural tax it would have to be on agricultural buisness relating to that farm no matter what the distance. Don't really think distance comes into it that much although i dare say there is a maximum distance of some sort. Normal road tax for a quad can't be that much. Might be easier and better piece of mind to get that. DunK
rabbit_killer 2
it is a 12 mile radius from your land if it is registerd as agricultural 100% you may not exceed 25mph on the puplic highway by law aswell and it must be registerd to an agricultural site eg. farm ect you can phone the dvla and change the taxation class of the veichle to plg but you will have to pay tax ect if you get pulled by the FBI and he knows this he will be straight on the case they are verry hot on it in essex!
