johnk 0
my uncle races greyhounds and always gives his dogs a rubdown with radium B,takes all the soreness out the dogs and relaxes tight muscles Quote Link to post
Mark.B 0
When we used to attend Waterloo cup in good old days after a course the dogs were rubbed down with a strong smelling rub.excuse the spelling but it was called curraco. Quote Link to post
samba 534
theres lots of different embrocation on the market for rubbing down if your dogs a bit stiff aftera nights lamping he deservesa good rub down i put mine in the magneta pulse box for 1/2 and this take all the sorness out of is body Quote Link to post
dennned 172
yes it is worth the effort after a nights hunting , checking for injury's as well as cuts , i allways rub mine down with curaco, before a nights lamping and when i return then putting them in the porta mag for 45 mins each, it's only fair on your dog , i also make sure they have electrolytes, before and after a hard nights graft , got to remember these are athletes , so we must to the best of our ability look after them Quote Link to post
roan 4
alco ectolin or any alcohol based rub find it good after a hard days coursing but rarely use it only if i see them stiff about the place does no harm anyway Quote Link to post
