Mark.B 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Share Posted July 8, 2008 Went sea fishing out of Whitby 2 weeks ago had agreat day among the catch i had a Pollock.Taken this out of freezer for tomorrows dinner.Has any body got any suggestions on how to cook it? mattydski 560 Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 I fish for Pollock of the west coast of Scotland. The skipper on the boat i fish gave me a recipe for Sweet Chilli Pollock. It was a couple of years ago now, and i dont have the details. It was fantastic!! I am sure you could replicate it from one of the sweet chilli cook in sauces or attempt to make up your own. This comment just reminded me of some of the best sea fishing i have every had. Pollock fishing of the mull of galloway. Mark.B 0 Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 Thanks for those but we have just eaten the pollock.Me wife and 2 kids have 4 clean plates.We all enjoyed it lightly fried in olive oil covered with parsley sauce,potatoes and broccoli.Oh and a bottle of Frascati to wash it down.
