long net

Recommended Posts

i brought some netting for a 100 meter longnet thats 200 yards of netting for £60

I dont wish to piss on your fire works there buddy but to pay £60 for a 200yrd sheet of netting is VERY EXPENSIVE as it only make a 100yrd working net. now if thats the price you have paid just for the netting youve been ripped off, as for £60, that is the price i and most charge for a FULLY RIGGED AND READY FOR WORK 100YRD WORKING LENGTH LONG NET.

would you be so kind as to pm me the details of the person you bought it off?

Oh i see, you bought a 100yrd long net, not a 200yrd sheet of netting  just the way you worded your post ;)

hi all,

just wondering how much i should look to pay for a normal long net(50-100yd) and how much for a quicksaet of the same speck?

thanks all

Make your own mate. Advanced Netting: http://www.advancednetting.co.uk/ will give you 132m of 4z for about £15 and will also supply lines. I make 1 50 yarder with that amount and it bags nicely as its over 100%

I have made several this way and they work a treat. It's not rocket science, the hardest thing is threading the head and foot lines....which if you buy from advanced netting is made easier as they supply the nets with a cord already running through the selvedge. (Maybe all suppliers do this, not sure) Then its a simple matter to just attach your braided line to the cord and pull it through! Whole job takes less than an hour.

Good luck.
