Neil Cooney. 1
Yes he could have caught your bitch and yes it will ruin her season. Soon when you'll be thinking about starting to get her fit she might be thinking about getting fat. 9 weeks pregnant, 6 weeks with pups, 6 weeks getting her half right. Nearly Christmas. Ring your vet and tell him the truth. Some morning after pills (an injection actually) are given a day or two later. Your vet will tell you. It'll be dear but money well spent. OR...... you could do what a lot of lads would do. Whelp your bitch and advertise the pups. "Lurcher pups for sale. Both parents well tested. Repeat mating". Quote Link to post
tommy.c 859
was on the phone first thing this morning to my vet and told him what happend,, he has booked my bicth ( sky) in for thursday morning he will give her an injection and then have her back on saturday for another one, this will stop her becoming pregnant! i feel a bit bad for doing this and not letting nature take its course, but i know that i have not got the room for a litter of pups among other things so this is my only option, i can now look forward to a good seasons hunting with her.. thanks for your comments folks,, ( tommy.c ) Quote Link to post
