MY FIRST LITTER OF KITS

Hi all just wondering when my ferret kits will start to eat meat, it is the jills first litters, one had ten kits and the other has had nine, jills doing really well, kits are three weeks old now.Any advice would be good,I have dried food down all day and feed rabbit or pet mince in tne night

They will start eating fresh meat any day now mate.They will crawl out to get it if your jill dont drag it in for them.Nice big litters good luck matey

Try putting half a rabbit into the nest boxes and if they dont eat it they will give it a damm good sucking there old enough now

i'm sure your kits will look for food when they are ready,just make sure there is extra food being put down daily from 3 weeks of age and preferably mashed to a pulp for easy digestion,atb,

i have never mashed any food up for my kits.They soon mash it up themselfs
