bsa say that generally premium quality domed head pellets are the most accurate in their guns but barrels differ even within the same models even if made one after the other so it is just a case of experimenting with different pellets and trying to find the one that you can shoot most accurately with.

You better of getting a selection and trying them all out and comparing groupings. Most barrels are quite unique and tend to suit different pellets.

 

I tend to find air arms field a good alrounder.

try some different pellets to find which is best but if you can get hold of them get the jsb pellets. other then that air arms do go well in most rifles

i have a bsa super ten and find that

 

H&N Field Target Trophy

&

air arms diabolo field

 

are the best for my gun good gruping and do the job very well for me give them a go an see how you get on

when john bowkett the s10 designer blueprints a gun he test it with jsb exacts and bisley magnums so that can't be a bad place to start.

jsb exacts and air arms fields are the same pellet ( made by jsb in the checzh republic)

 

so if you can't get one get the other!!!

H&N FTT are a quality domed pellet I've found very reliable for hunting.

ive got superten bullbarrel carbine i use aa fields 5.52 size in 22 best ive found to work 35 yards dead on

hi sean your right jsb make the air arms pellets to but the skirts on the air arms seam more brittle then the jsb tinned ones.
