storm is old enough to breed from and i want a pup out of him now as he has proven himself to do anythink and everythink i want him to and he could easily get seriously injured with the game he is running now and i would regret not having a pup from him if anythink happens.

I wouldnt knock youre plans for breeding.I know what its like when you have something you like and think hes special you think about keeping his or her blood and theres nothing wrong with that but I would urge just a little caution. We had a dog which we thought was a world beater. He caught everything and killing was his passion in life.He was awsome to watch, fast agile and never got injured. We had him actually suspended in tall hedges where he had literally tried to jump through them after quarry. His only fault really if anything would have been over enthusiasm but we expected that to calm with age.Well it did but not to our liking.Just before he was three he decided to jack or spew it or what ever you like to call it but he never regained it.Not the dogs fault and not ours.We didnt over work him and he had the best of care but it was a body blow to say the least. The one consolation is we hadnt used him for breeding.Dogs are not matured until they are 3 or 4years old and can change quite a bit.Having said that you could be waiting a while for that Longtail to come into season.Good luck anyway I wish you all the best.
