borderboy 80
I think we're just going to have to accept that a badger cull is not going to happen... unless something serious changes... Quote Link to post
Guest markbrick1
now that is a hard one, farmers are starting to get desperate and this will happen, but how??????????????? Quote Link to post
Guest bigredbusa
farmers know there land better then most . i doubt anyone would know either way unless they really balls up Quote Link to post
gaz 284
Feck culling badgers....what about a cull on the politicians Quote Link to post
Guest markbrick1
hyperthetical again,if you were going to cull badgers for health reasons and you was a desperate farmer land owner how would you do it,mark Quote Link to post
Rolfe 2
The Badger cull will never happen because it wouldn't be "PC" to carry out such an operation without the backing and full support of the RSPCA and other animal welfare groups.........which they aint going to give ...AND WHY? Because the RSPCA relies (for a major part of its income) on donations and legacy's from the bunnie huggers of this world who they would not want to upset for a million years........! Rolfe. droid 11
at a guess mark i would say they would be lamped / shot but imagine the shit if they got caught I doubt most farmers have time to piss about lamping. Gassing is my bet. Quote Link to post
mackem 28,621
We all interpret laws slightly differently depending upon our comprehension of them, the average farmer is au fait with his ground, knows the lie of the land,if he is out at 2am shooting who is going to know?Lots of things in this world are illegal, doesnt mean they dont still go on,its getting caught thats the bummer Quote Link to post

And I agree, who the f**k's going to monitor this? If it's a choice of going out of business and gassing a sett, I think I know what most farmers would do. Quote Link to post
mackem 28,621
Thats why I said,we all interpret laws differently, not the CPS but a personal interpretation, and I did add the kicker that getting caught would be the downer Prostitution is illegal, have you seen how many high-class hookers operate around westminster?Lawmakers themselves are hypocritically flexible when it suits them, just because they sae something is so doesnt mean its something we should always adhere to 100%,theres sometimes a degree of latitude Any free thinking farmer shouldnt really have a problem. Hob&Jill 258
Lets face it farmers have been culling badgers for years ban or no ban, there not going to start or stop as its already happening. Quote Link to post
