Exercising the dogs is one thing but running a dog in july ? its hot and the grounds like rock.

had plenty of rain my way and grounds made of rock where i live in most areas

if the dog has good feet and been road walked properly not a problem pal

you recon pal,its a matter of time keep um on the hard ground even we road wofk and all the best conditioning theylle cave in eventualy.

just got back from a nice productive walk with my hound and springer, ground sure as hell isn't too hard in n. yorks, silage fields with spray at every turn. i'd much rather run the lad on this than the frost and ice in winter, each to thier own though,

on-point

well iam running in north yorkshire and as you said not bad better than hard frost on ground so the unnessasary hoo ha as to im running them on too hard ground etc is wrong my dogs are happy and come home without a problem .and to be honest its rather wet here at the moment i walk at night with knee high boots still come home wet so cannot be that hard or would wear me trainers ah.and i own dogs to work not a holiday camp.and what dooes a farmer do lay his sheep dog up in the summer incase its too hard then run them on a hard frosty ground because its the winter season no .

and i have said it and say again their is no close season for rabbit either look it up .their may have been years ago not anymore thankyou for all the information .i will start reposting in september when your seasons start and its probably warmer and harder many thanks and good night lol :victory:
