MY BITCH WAS BADLY BITTEN AT THE END OF SEASON RIGHT THROUGH THE WRIST SHE WAS OFF FOR THE RAMAINDING WEEKS .SHE HAS NOT HAD A DECENT RUN TILL YESTERDAY .WHILE OUT WALKING THE DOGS A HA RE GOT UP AND SHE WAS AWAY AFTER IT. THE HARE WON THIS TIME AND I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. THEN THIS MORNING THE BITCH HAS COME OUT OF HER KENNEL AND THE SAME WRIST HAS SWOLLEN UP.NOW I CAN,T BLAME THE GROUND BEING TO HARD CAUSE IT WAS,NT.CAN,T BLAME THE FANCY MOVES SHE DONE WITH THE HARE CAUSE SHE NEVER.ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS FLOATING BONE DUE TO CHIPPED BONE. I HAVE HOT AND COLDED THE WRIST AND IT IS GRADUALLY GOING DOWN .ANY INFO WOULD BE GRATEFUL.

rest and more rest mate same thing happend to my old bitch and she was quite lame after a good run out took few days to calm down again...try metacalm from vets anti inflamatory....no quick solution....one of those things!

My terrier had his foot badly mauled when he was once stuck in rocks. He suffered tendon damage and now often goes lame on the foot. So i suppose it depends on what damage has been done under the skin.
