when i took it up last year a guy gave me a book called lurcher and longdogs went threw how it all began up untill present and some old methods used taught me a lot and

enjoyed reading it infact couldnt put it down just cant remember the author.and lent it out never got back or id pass you it on good luck

I like reading back copys of edrd always full of intresting info and observations on most types of hunting dogs but especialy lurchers and terriers

ive read a few books on lurchers but realy i couldnt say whats best my old mate over in the usa gazehounds and coursing good book about dogs and hees is a genuine hnting guy whose hunted all sorts for 4 0r 5 decadesa real hunting guy a great read iscannes and coyotes , harlod wymans classic thtas about it cant think of any more all depends what you want ot of a book there all sorts but not many good ones ,p loyds moucher not a bad read

I have got to agree best Lurcher book has to be Rogues and Running Dogs followed closley by the Complete Lurcher by D.B.P.Both these books were my bible in my early teenage years.

ive read a few and in my opinion jakie drakeford understanding the working lurcher

brilliant read excellent training methods, hunting tips,bringing on,recall everything,plummers books are good too,also the countrymans weekly has usually a few pages on lurchers every week.
