andy s410c 59
Finally blew the dust off the Tracer Pro last night, arrived at the farm just after midnight greeted to no wind & a dark but deep blue sky topping off the Weardale horizon. I went to the bottom quarry & started at the top field across from the farm house managed to miss 2 but bag 1 from there.I then went along the top off the quarry wall but the sheep were everywhere so that moved any rabbitts off once they started to charge around .I cut my losses & went round to the back of the quarry onto the paddock fields switched the lamp on & at least 20 pairs of red eyes shone up I had a perfect rest on a fence post & proceed to pick out another 5 with some nice headshots. All the rabbits were just under 3/4 grown & healthy so i was more than happy with what i had & called it a night, well a morning as it was 3:15 am got home a hour later & sorted the rabbits out this afternoon, the ferts enjoyed the kidneys & 1 off our freezer draws is full again Quote Link to post
