FIRST LAMPING SESH OF THE SUMMER

Recommended Posts

Finally blew the dust off the Tracer Pro last night, arrived at the farm just after midnight greeted to no wind & a dark but deep blue sky topping off the Weardale horizon.

I went to the bottom quarry & started at the top field across from the farm house managed to miss 2 but bag 1 from there.I then went along the top off the quarry wall but the sheep were everywhere so that moved any rabbitts off once they started to charge around :wallbash: .I cut my losses & went round to the back of the quarry onto the paddock fields switched the lamp on & at least 20 pairs of red eyes shone up :gunsmilie: I had a perfect rest on a fence post & proceed to pick out another 5 with some nice headshots. All the rabbits were just under 3/4 grown & healthy so i was more than happy with what i had & called it a night, well a morning as it was 3:15 am :icon_eek: got home a hour later & sorted the rabbits out this afternoon, the ferts enjoyed the kidneys & 1 off our freezer draws is full again :)

Nice hunting mate!!! Although you need to brush up on your photography skills as I can't see very clearly all your goodies from the hunt..............

May I suggest an EOS D400 upwards :whistling:

Great post anyhow :victory:
