FOXHUNTER 5,021
I was kindly invited by David last night to try for a roebuck on his patch in Yorkshire . I have never shot deer in Yorkshire before so was full of anticipation. We lay in wait but nothing showed at first , until a young doe appeared , her foxy red coat glistening in the glorious sunshine. We watched her feed for a while before she melted away into the cover. We waited and it was starting to get dark so we stalked down further to where there was some young trees , as we stalked along the edge I spied a buck feeding away from us , so it was rifle on sticks a little shout for the buck to raise his head and a low neck shot dropped him instantly My 1st Yorkshire roebuck , thanks again mate Buck was grassed at 10.25 pm .
