There's nawt wrong with a drink or three, I generally just drink a bottle of brandy a night it puts me to sleep an makes me silly, but I do the most stupidest things when I'm sober :good:

 F*ck me! I've just read all that and thought, " Ye poor b*stards! ". So Many reasons why ye 'can't' drink!

I was thinking how it no longer really effects me - never Has, particularly; In the throwing up or playing up sense at least. But maybe that's my own condition showing through? I can be every bit as much what ever, 'Just Because'. It doesn't take a drink to make me react.

Weird, really. I have less inhibitions nowadays. But, when I'm having a drink ~ which removes most peoples inhibitions ~ I actually become more inhibited! I suspect it's a matter of concious Self Control stepping in to moderate the potential of 'normally' lowered, unconscious inhibition.

In a nut shell? Why I don't go running riot with my chain saw after a few drinks!

When I was younger I could drink till the cows come home 12 pints of cider then Pernod in the nightclubs,Now dont touch the stuff stomach ulcers put paid to that  I remember one night we were so drunk we climbed the scaffolding around the town centre church right to the top of the spire and stayed there all night chewing the fat, got nabbed by the cops when we came down but let off with a caution .If Iwas sober Iwouldnt have even dreamt of such a trick

In my younger days (talking teens here) drink made me rather ... unpleasant. I had a bit of a rep for getting into fights, with just about anybody :icon_redface: I was full of anger for a lot of reasons, and I drank to let it all out. The worst one I can remember, when I was about 17, is stepping in between a fight with my boyfriend and some guy. The guy knocked my boyfriend out, so I knocked the guy out! The guy I knocked out became a friend of mine and used to call me Lefty even though I belted him with a right :boxing: Needless to say, I didn't have a boyfriend after that  I saw him years later in a club and he told me he was sorry we broke up, but he was too embarassed at the time to let anyone think I would fight his battles :clapper:

Then I mellowed out quite a bit. I don't really drink anymore, unless My Special Someone comes round armed with Magners and a bottle of wine :whistling: I'm happy and cuddly now when I've had a few; no more bad temper :victory:

My ex was a drunk, and he got quite violent with me on a few occassions. It sorta put me off of drinking as you can imagine.

Well done and keep it up :good: it takes a strong person to admit that. Me and the wife have agreed to have a lay off after the weekend, more to save money than thinking we have a problem and it wont do any harm huh.

I drink four nights a week at presant, and before that It was 7 nights week and doing a 60 hour a week job....

I think the worst that I've had happen through the 'pop' is buying a load of pepper spray off Ebay whilst pissed up...I thought it was a great idea at the time.....untill four months later one evening..I had the armed police storming me house ...plaggy cuffing me and shoving an MP5 in my earhole...very scary shit

other daft drunken acts include......

breaking into a local pub landlords car and putting a shopping trolley in the boot...can't remember why.

filling a pub toilet full of sand.......

nicking various pub benches and placing them in peoples gardens around our village.. :clapper:

taking a next door neighbours wheelie bin on a two mile ramble and leaving it in the middle of a field ..it had their post code on it...ok :tongue2:

some crazy acts can't be mention as they are too recent .... :victory:
