Pellet prices....how much!!

Went to the gun shop after work to get meself 2 tins of AA Fields(.22) had a bit of small talk with the counterstaff & get me card out to pay....£21.60 :icon_eek: ,"thats expensive" i said,he said"the price of lead & manufacture has went up".Anyway paid up,now on my way to hospital to get blister treatment on my arse where its been well warmed... :big_boss: PS: rant over :clapper::clapper:

Yeah,Dave changed the name to "Coast&Country" once I left,my mate malcolm used to work in there :D Oh well,times and places change I guess,maybe its me stuck in the timewarp :D

Im sure that Sean3513 will do us all a fair price on supplies if we ask him nicely :whistling: And he`ll post em so we dont need to ge off our arses :clapper:

AA fields .22 .............have gone up recently.

 

i can currently supply them at £9.50 a tin plus postage at cost ( about 80p)...( 5.51 and 5.52)

 

not much cheaper.....but as buster said...........you dont have to leave your armchair !!!!!!!

Nothing to do with you Sean but not long back these were £7.95 (500) and a couple of years ago between £5.95 - £6.50...which was never cheap for an airgin pellet...But I do like them and use them a lot (5.51 Fields)........anyway........ this lead bullshit is just that...I accept lead has gone up... BUT these pellets have all but DOUBLED in price in the last 2-3 years...they weigh 16.25g.....MY Rimmy ammo weighs 40g and I can STILL buy that at £32, 1000...someone is extracting the urine out of us shooters yet again!!!!

couldn't agree more deker..........i have noticed the same!!!!

 

just compare .177 and .22 prices. ( i pressume .22 out sell .177)

 

according to reports air gun shooting is one of the fastest growing sports.........is that the answer????

 

manufacturers cashing in on the growth??
