hi, they appear at scotarms auction in newark from time to time,might be worth a look if you canot find one before the next auction .i bought a near mint 410 double barrel[10 inch]hammer pistol from there for 45 pounds. check out their website for the next auction date...cheers greasemonkey

Fair question if you don't know. 410 pistols are, if Certified correctly , legitimate and ideal little tools for humane dispatch of snared /trapped foxes etc.Hope this helps

sorry mate ,just happened to be in the right place at the right time,having said that most of the 410 pistols ihave seen sold there have not made a lot of money probably because if you havent got a slot on your ticket ,you have to have a section 5 rfd to posess them to sell on,my ticket states that this pistol is for the destruction of vermin in and around buildings, ihave a 9mm pistol for humane destruction,all the best greasemonkey

Seen as you are fairly close to me.

 

I'll give one of my Local dealers a ring and see what he has there. He has some of the more obscure guns there. He helped a friend out a few months back who was after a Flare Gun, which is not too popular an addition to an FAC. He was about to pay about £300 for one when I rang him and asked him to get in touch with this dealer. £50!!! for it and 10 1" Flares. Can't be bad.

you are right ,section 1 for those with fac slots, but section 5rfd to deal in them because they are section 5 until you possess them on your fac when they become section one under the exemption in the firearms act for use by a pest controller or for humane destruction. if you sell either a bullet pistol or shot pistol back to a dealer it reverts back to its section 5 status..greasemonkey
