Mars 42 Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 Got their today, Great weather, My Pup got a 3rd in the rough coat pup class, Did`nt show my Bull cross, did`nt seem right as she`s 5 week in pup, Their was some Very nice Bull Xs there though, and acouple of pups from my bitches last litter 1 of which won the smooth bitch class, so i had a good day, met up with a few friends, had a few Beers, picked up a couple of bargins and got to see some quality dogs. One of the reasons I like doing shows is to spend some time with genuine lads, and it was a pleasure to spend with TOMO and Simoman and all the other lads and girls I met yesterday. As Si says, I did indeed bring something extra home: Unfortunately it was the wrong thing to do (or so my "good" lady tells me ) Please see for sale section for full explanation. whip 1 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 would like to say we had great time at show,really good folk there, great venue (pub) and weather was perfect. wasn't going to show my dogs but 2 young ladies volunteered and won 2 1sts and a second with them so well pleased. thought there were some real quality dogs there and thought the judge got it right in the champ and reserve (lurchers,didn't see any terriers) anyway thanks to chris and the organises for putting on a great day, cheers whip Quote Link to post Share on other sites
chris hickling 14 Posted July 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 A big thank you to all that came,made it a very nice show,Thank you to the judges,A LONG for the terriers my last min stand in man,Big Benny for the lurchers ,Keg for the bull cross class ,there was some nice dogs to pick from and again last min stand in man,taffy for entered terrier again last min stand in man and Georgia for doing child handler class for lurchers and terriers ,plus veteran and couples in the terrier ring, the lads that came with the stands cheers lads it makes it all the more better my misses for her cake stand which i not be getting fat on as there was note left for me to pig out on when we finshed gate staff the lot,again a BIG THANKS TO ALL, next time it will be a bigger and better show with more to see ,cheers chris p.s sorry didnt get any photos as i for got to take it.
