Guest RobW71
Do you remove the collar after checking every earth? Regards Rob Quote Link to post
matulkoh 66
we have 2 dogs and just one collar, so this was the reason why i put on and off collar. be sure i d dugg to him if he would not come out. we use here another practice. we let our dogs working, most of fox places have several entrances, so dogs commonly drawn out the fox, if the place is like the one yesterday dogs used to kill the fox and then we digg, but like old hunter sayin here the best thing on such a place is let dog goes in make there some noise and then take him away, the fox on 99% goes out in 20 minutes so we can shot. mates the difference is that diggin in UK is y national field sport or used to be, here in Slovakia we hunt foxes cause they are killing our wild rabbits, wild pheasants, babies of red deer hind,......and also they spreadin diseases like rabis..... something y do not have in UK. Also i do not have my own hunting area so i m always just guest, and if the local hunter or proprietor of land say call in y dog i have to obey if i wanna go hunt again. Still think I m a twat? Stupid Question.... Yes ur are a TWAT.... these fox killing dogs u have   must be really good... so i let him work i was waiting for the moment he took a while to rest and i whistled on him twice and shouted that i have a cat, don't you think he would have come out quicker if you had shouted that you had a guinea pig... and if u promised him he could come back when it's warmer then that's ok then... here in Slovakia we hunt foxes cause they are killing our wild rabbits, wild pheasants, babies of red deer hind,......and also they spreadin diseases like rabis..... all the more reason to dig him out ... don't you think??? How far from the entrance was it?? Quote Link to post
Wilky 0
I've read posts where this fella has ranted and raved about how good dogs are over there, and if we wanted to test our dogs, this is where we should be going, and we'd most likely be shown up. If a terrier that I was feeding performed like that I'd still be digging a hole, but I'd be coming home with an empty lead in my pocket. :realmad: Quote Link to post
