cooper90 0
I thought i would start a thread about "monsters" caunght from unexpected places. My first story is about a short day session i was on the upper upper severn, just below Welshpool..... The river is shallow and rippy this far up, i was having a punt for some Grayling and Chub just bumping a worm. Bang, small Chub after a couple of minutes, brill might be in for a few fish today... Another worm go's in Bang this one pulls back two or three minutes of agro and i have a P.B. Bream in the net 8 1/2 lb Amazing. Next put in bang another one an even bigger Bream this one goes over 10lb its 10lb 4 oz, wow..... Next put in and this is different this fish is fighting, really dirty took me in a bush twice i thought it was a Barbel it wasnt it was a p.b. Tench 6lb 8 oz f**king hell... I am running out of worms and Bang i know its a Bream but how big five minutes later i find out 12lb 2oz ... These are not huge fish, in respect to the records but they were caught from the upper upper severn. It was one on the most amazing fishing days in my life.. Now pray tell me about your red letter days Quote Link to post
