Its Ok mate, Yes I feed mine on dry ferret food aswell as rabbits and pheasants pigeons etc. But mostly dry food and they thrive on it. Ive fed them on this for a long time,before then when I was younger I used to feed them on meat and cat biscuits but they look alot better on dryed ferret food. You just have to make sure they do not eat too much and start piling wieght on!

The whole carcass, just gut them.

I clean mine out every otherday and don't have a prob with smell. Feeding fresh meat in the summer is best fed at night, then removed in the morning.

Yeah do not over feed them, but like rob w says take any out the day after as it will rot and attract flies, they will take it into the sleeping compartment

ive noticed they take it in there sleeping compartment i thought it was just mine tht did that lol.

i use to feed my jill on pigs liver. thats [bANNED TEXT] i only had her though.

 

another think does feedin ferrets meat make them bite?

You can skin them, that's up to you, I do if I can be bothered.

Mine take two days to eat a rabbit, after that, anything left I throw away.

I throw in table scraps aswell, veggies etc.

its up to you weather you skin them I don,t. When I feed pidgeons all thats left is the head and some feathers. With rabbits they just rip off what they want and try and drag the carcass into the sleeping quarters

Only bad handling or dodgy ferrets makes them bite you , feeding meat doesw give them sloppy crap though.

I feed my ferrets just dried food but let them have the rabbit skins to play with the only downside is they drink lots with dry food

i get up every morning at 7:30 and fill them up and [bANNED TEXT] a cover them up at night i fill them up then
