Wilky 0
If Fed Dibnah would have been a history teacher, we'd all have A levels, a real character and a treasure of a bloke, what about that shitty old landrover with the ladder rack made from scaffold poles, marvellous.... Flintlock 0
His name seems to crop up weekly when groups of people of my (retired) age get together. A lot of us would have enjoyed playing with steam engines etc. Top bloke!

Ratman2 2
Fred is a legend, sadly taken from us too soon. I would have loved to be part of his world, all his friends had total respect for the man and he won the argument every time. Fred Dibnah RIP
Guest WILF
Thats the trouble with fame.............someone is allways trying to knock you down Edited July 4, 2008 by WILF
pinicale 0
I worked on 2 jobs with Fred, the guy had forgot more then we had learnt. A real gent and was willing to teach without being patronising, fame was a novelty and it did not change him one bit. A definate legend.
