I have a 10 month lurcher and as soon as we get a bit of stuble in the fields i plan to take him out on the lamp. what spec of lamp is needed? will a normal torch be ok to start with? also at 10 month would you say this is a suitable age? he is a big strong dog (grey x bull) and is at the mo a bit hard mouthed can i get that out of him? cheers Quote Link to post

maty j 6
I have a 10 month lurcher and as soon as we get a bit of stuble in the fields i plan to take him out on the lamp Wait till there cut and the rain softens them a bit or your dog will be cut up. Lamps - Have a look for clulite (lazerlite) nitestalker range and some like the lightforce but the wiring in them is suposed to be crap! Quote Link to post
