If I was to take my ferrets in with me at 0800hrs in a cat carrier would they be ok with water till the after noon so I could go ferreting straight after work on these days, This will only be when the season starts so should be cooler, Cheers Fergie Quote Link to post

lorelei0922 2 Posted July 2, 2008 Report Share Posted July 2, 2008 Cant see it being a problem a couple of times ive took a hob ferret in for a mate to use on his jills and he has been fine in the car ,Just check on them a couple of times and offer them some water to drink ferrets travel really well.. and a cat carrier type thing works fine... if its going to be for a long day .. you might consider a trick the pet folkuse.. hang a small hammock in the carrier.. put newspaper under ( so they aren't wallowing in their own mess) and add a water bottle.. they'll be comfortable and rested come end of the day and ready for a good evening's work!
