I've just gutted and cleaned a rabbit for the first time. It was shot with a rifle and the front of the saddle is very bruised and I thought I'd give it to my adult Labrador, raw, but rabbit bones are so sharp. Is it OK to give it to her?

My dogs are very much better on raw rabbit, from pups. I gut the rabbits but leave the liver, kidneys and heart in and freeze the rabbits for 3 weeks to kill any worms etc, then just give to the dogs, with the fur on when defrosted. Never had a problem. I also feed fresh chickens from the supermarket, as they are "fast grown" and soft boned. I never feed cooked bones
