smelly dog 16
IN ALL THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN DIGGING I HAVE DUG TWICE TO TWO DIFFERENT DOGS WHO HAD THERE GAME / BADGER KILLED, IN MY OPINION I WOULD SAY THERE WERE OLD SICK BADGERS, OR THERE WERE VICTIMS OF A HIT AND RUN OR VICTIMS OF BEEN SHOT A FEW DAYS BEFORE I DUG THEM( WHEN IT WAS LEGAL). ANY ONE THAT SAYS HE HAS A TERRIER THAT KILLS BADGERS IN GROUND ARE ONE OF TWO THINGS . DAY DREAMERS/ OR RETARDS. OR PERHAPS HE IS BOTH !! Quote Link to post

liamdelaney 2,587
grant c tell him he is talking shite. Ive had game fit staffs who were afraid ov nothing. One ov them once killed a pig [ a real pig]when he got out one day.On another occasion one ov them done a bad job on a mule we had to put down the mule.A game staff bitch i had got in one day at another game bitch she killed her ate through her rib cage and ate her heart.None ov the above mentioned dogs could kill a badger and back then i tried them all.The badger pound for pound is the best fighting machine in the world. So dont listen to the boys in the pub trying to impress i hunted with them sort ov people ONCE .When i pulled out the badger by the tail they ran out into the middle ov the field afraid. But for weeks before that they had anyone who would listen[in the pub] captivated by there hunting feats and there bravery under fire. There at every dog show there at every game fair some ov them have killed badgers with their bare teeth some ov them were at the alamo. One gang ov them even took the credit for killing a whole battallion ov klingons[no mean feat]But they all have one thing in common they all have small terriers that can kill badgers[before their weetabix]THERE EVERYWHERE. Neil Cooney. 1
Who's to say Smithy didn't kill a badger, maybe a weak one or so. How would a badger have died at a trials? Six minutes ???? As for Middletons terriers? Well after reading an article about Seamus Erwin a couple of years ago it might be true. According to the article all of us in Ireland have Seamus to thank for our great terriers. Don't his terriers come down from Mr. Middletons? So maybe it's true. LOL Quote Link to post
