ULTIMATE DRAW DOGS

Recommended Posts

anyone working terriers shouldnt need a draw dog at the end of a dig pre ban or what.if you cant handle the quarry live then you shouldnt own terriers..my personal opinion any way..

on some digs you will not need a draw dog.but you will get alot of digs when you will very handy in deep digs when the game has pushed on a bit and dosent want to come out try put your hand in their mate youl be comen out with a crunched up hand.be realistic course you need a draw dog when diging.

Shotup we didnt work heavy dogs because we were afraid to handel game.i can handel anything as good as anyone else,we worked them cause THATS WHAT THEY WERE BRED FOR.I think only a few english terrier men have the same outlook as most of us Irish. We looked on working heavy dogs as another great aspect of hunting.its in our genetics i think :clapper:

STAN22 yeah thats pet,she was a very determined dog.I was blessed to have had her,as were my kids too.

seen some good bull/greyhounds and wheaten/greyhounds as you have put this in the running dog section i think thats what you mean but for the ultimate drawing dog you got to go for a wheaten that has been bred for the job if it is a dog you want just to draw they wont let you down but finding the right one might be hard work as the real thing tends to remain in a very tight circle of friends

just to add people any dog youve seen draw good , not just running dog etc etc ,, Sniper

whos that in your avatar,mark
