vasectomised?

Recommended Posts

surely a "uncle" vet would do it for free,

Ive had hobs snipped at less than a year old

have you bothered looking in the pinned post, top of this section, "owners with snipped hobs" if you have and no one near you has advertised, that sort of answers your question, which would make this post a bit useless

Ive just looked and there is one in cornwall, have you pm'd him???

or do I have to do everything :wallbash:

You were a kid yourself stubby lmao.

If you get one of this years kitts you will need to wait till its testes drop for it to be snipped .and i dont think a 13 year old should be looking for a adult hob to get snipped as i reckon you might be getting somebody elses problems

to get the ill jab will cost anwhere between 5-10+ depending on the vet, i can get it for 6 pound by me...

so a few visits with the jill jab pays for your hobs vesectomy... so its a far better way to do it, and in my opinion it should only be used as a last resort.. but that my opinion.

so willf11 its would pay you better to get it done mate..

cheers

A snipped hobs the way to go but your in the lap of the gods you got to wait a couple of months then after letting him loose with the jills you wait to see if the vet did the job right

sorry I didnt see that post. I did post on that but you deleted it and told me to put it up as a seperate thread. I will take my uncle out for lunch or somit to say thanks, or he will do it as a b-day pressent. He said it is quite fiddly with ferrets and thats why he tries not to do many. And ive also found that many vets dnt seem to like them.

I think i may follow all this advise and get 1 snipped. Would he be able to live with my entir hob and a castrated hob? I have a hob kit which will stay entire and it would be a bugger to have to have seperate hutches

that depends mate, my Vas hob lives with 7 neutered hobs happilly all year round, he was vasectomised aged 2 and was a new membver to the group, it will depend on your existing hobs and your new one

the castrate one is fairly easy going but I dontknow yet about the kit until he matures a bit lol

If He's anything like His Sire.. He'll NEVER attempt to bite you... once past the playful kits stage which as you know he is already well nipped trained ... but wont tolerate another hob in the mating season.. His mum is a fidget but a cracking worker .. she has her cranky high spirits as well.. so you just can never tell
