inan 841
if a person was walking his/hers dogs on permision and the dogs happened to come across one of the above completly inicent and killed it what would be the outcome if you were seen and maybe pictures taken, this is not baiting are anything like that a sunday afternoon walk and this happened,no hunting involved are anything......................has there been any cases, mark These things happen,.. I suppose as a hunting man,.you don't want to make a regular habit of it though. If you take a few terriers and a running dog or two out into the countryside,.it is inevitable that something will occur..Personaly,.I try to avoid 'accidents',.but,.if I am working in the 'set-a-side' for the rabbits,.prior to ferreting or maybe pushing rabbits out of high grass towards a net,..and,.a hare, fox or deer rises,..well,.that is tough luck...If somebody wishes to make a court case out of it,.then so be it,.. INTENT,...that is the word... All the best,..and do go careful lads,.coz its getting dangerous,.out there... That is a fantastic photo CW In the right place at the right time comes to mind ,thank you for putting it up! Quote Link to post

salukiman 28
very intresting subject you have brought up markas when on my permission i have come accross recently alot of badger somthing i rarley have come accross before i have my dogs running free nine times out of ten and only just got them back prior to get stuck in to one i just saw the badger out off the corner of my eye and still wonder to this day what a situation it would of been that the dogs spotted it. and also iam seeing more and more everytime iam out over the fox which i used to see. even when stood with my dogs with the lamp on it.it didnt rush to move from our way so we could move on .and still wonder what would off happened if being in that situation where the dogs had gone into one i think the most likely outcome would be a massive vets bill Quote Link to post
heart of wales 19
Cracking thread Mark You must have read my mind this Morning we farm over a thousand acres in Mid Wales Badger down as its known, every morning I walk the four German Shepherds and my GSD X lurcher, they have fantastic prey drive and are always hunting and catching rabbits and squirells If I on my own land were to knock up a fox and the dogs kill it could I be done. I wont even mention the Badger senario as I know the outcome, having had several dealings with the Police in the last couple of Months, they are only intrested in easy prosecutions,if someones dogs done a Badger and it was witnessed by a member of the public, pack your toothbrush and wish your dogs goodbye your f"""d Quote Link to post

LDR 29
if a person was walking his/hers dogs on permision and the dogs happened to come across one of the above completly inicent and killed it what would be the outcome if you were seen and maybe pictures taken, this is not baiting are anything like that a sunday afternoon walk and this happened,no hunting involved are anything......................has there been any cases, markIf you are ever accused you should be very willing to explain the circumstances fully to the police ONCE YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO YOURE BRIEF who will presumably be one of those hunty lawyers(i keep there number on my phone)or any brief is better than non.The main reason for this is that they have to hand over to him all the evidence they have at that time.Did you read about the bloke who denied even seeing a badger whilst out lamping that night with his child. What he didnt know was that his daughter had video evidence on her phone whilst out lamping to the contrary which of course proved him a liar.Had he spoken to his brief first he would have had that knowledge and been able to explain the accident which im sure it was and also explain his intention to report the matter which im sure he would have had he not been arrested first. Exactly the same mate, keep 2 hunting lawyers numbers in my phone.........not because i do anything illegal, just because you never know who's gonna accuse you of what!!!!!! Quote Link to post

Guest The Big Fish
Anyway Mark, you thick feck, what you been caught doing? cmon spill the beans, you have told half the story, and dont give me the "hyperthetical" lark. Someone took photos of you doing something naughty and now you want a way out before you go to see mr big in jail for a good auld roddgering! I have been told of the mythical beast that lurks in the shower rooms, his prowess is surpassed, even makes me look like some shrinking violet when it comes to sticking his "oar" in My only suggestion to you is: make sure you take plenty of lube, if that is unavailble due to an early morning raid, then make sure that you do in fact bend down in the showers to pick up that soap, and USE IT!
