Guest merlin
just got back from the show(left before the end)and what a disappointment it was.a show of such prestige being run like that is laughable.if you showed a jack russell and were'nt a prominent member of the jack russell club(and got placed)let me know.never would i show a russell there again if a jack russell club judge was judging.he looked at their faces, picked them out, then as an afterthought had a look at the dogs.we had a game of spot the jack russell club members kennel, was'nt hard as they were full of rosettes lol.waste of time, money and a day off.it was like watching the n.l.r.c of terriers.on the upside i saw some good blacks, looked like they'd saw lots of graft

Guest blackntan
hard to tell where crossbreds and lakeys begin and end lol.lakeys are now as weak as piss apart from the blacks,at what point did a lakeys head become a fox terriers?THE LAKEY THAT WON THE CROSS BREDS , this show used to be the top working terrier show it is now being draged down by people who enter terriers in classes whitch they know they have a better chance of winning , the judge on the day is being put in a impossible postion it is up to the people who run this show to take these, people to one side and make a ruling before this great event is ruined , these people know what there doing and do it at many shows its hard to stop at the yorkshire due to pre entry but all show orginisers should make a stand , the fell and moorland class and the vetran class winners were true working terriers , dont let this great show be draged thru the mud enter your workers NEXT YEAR
