red letter day on the perch

had a great session on the thames near oxford last sunday. Three 3lbs perch plus five over two pounds. was using soft plastic bait on a lead head jig twitched back along the bottom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i generally fly fish for trout but the guy i went with reconed this was a pretty special bag. will try for a four pounder next time.

Well done mate, had two 2lb+ out of Loddon in a session once, but that's a much better bag you've got there.

nice size but last year i was gettin 4 to 5 pound perch neally every cast on a brick pound in south yorkshire
