mole catcher 1
nice poem lurcher lass heres one of my efforts A poaching we shall go To tickle a trout and take him out Of the babbling brook so clear, not even a sound and never a shout For I know the keepers near. To set a snare on that pathway there where the trods are so clear and defined, Will laden my table with such fare Of a meat that is so maligned. To wander at night with a desire to shoot At the lords most dignified bird, With a sack on my shoulder to carry the loot I pray that my shots were not heard. With a net in hand I scour this land For a place to set my device, On that windy hilltop alone I stand To catch a few would be nice. For a poacher I am full of pride A remnant from a history long gone, I suggest your game you do hide For me Im doing no wrong. Should I get caught for my dastardly deeds A tear I shall not shed, For when I go out it’s never with greed I just do it whilst your tucked up in bed.

3jackwhite3 2
Not mine i found this one but i think its good. enjoy Most folk have a false impression of us shooters, They think that we are cruel, and only kill for bloodlust, this isn't the case at-all. We aren't inhuman murderers, who kill for pleasure and fun, our sport is like any other, your cricket bat is our gun. We appreciate our sport so much, like most good sportsmen do, believe me when I say, us shooters are no different to you. A keeper conceals himself down in a wood, to search for a shot or two, gazing out onto the fields, seeing grass covered in dew. To venture out in our camo clothes, to fields and gully's where no-body goes, can excite the heart of the shooting man, a shooting opportunity will be taken when it can. We respect our quarry and what we shoot, whether it be a duck, rabbit, pheasant or coot, we look after the country side as best we can, that is the duty of every shooting man. And the government thinks it'll ban shooting one day, well it's got another thing coming cos we'll have our say, we won't go down without a fight, we'll protect our sport come day or night!
