hi lads just wondering how u get your little warriors fit for the season of digging,i personally have them running behind the motor with the coursing dogs not too much though for the terrier and also have him dragging a car tyre about for a few hours every other day . so how do the rest of you get them ready cheers.

both very good ways to get the dog fit the slat mill is also a very handy peice off equipment.

walk them let them hav a good run about plenty of road miles

keep mine fit by getting the hubby to take them round the hill when checking his sheep making them run after the quad

JESUS , its not a fighting pitbull your training , or is it :whistling:

it dont fight pitbulls no they not quite as hard what my terriers fight but they certainly not bunnies

just let mine do a bit of cover gets them keen and fit just no where near any burrows and running them with hounds behind a car is a good way terriers ar well able for all kinds of fitness....

pleny of road work, running beside me on the bike and walks on the beach. my terriers gets the same exercise as my hounds. i dont let up with fitness when the season's over,i keep them as near as hunting fit as possible all summer.
