fergie 0
Hi Well I'm new-ish to the shotgun hunting I shot all last game season on my game shoot which is 99% Pheasant I was using no5 32g (2.7mm) are these too much for just a walk about for rabbits, pigeons and squirrel they do say special pigeon game on them. Although I don't know what this special pigeon game is lol (thought I would say it before someone else) Cheers Fergie PS these are coutryways own carts Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
I like 5's....when I'm walking around the fields I find them an excellent "all round" cartridge, rabbit, pigeon, pheasant, crow, squirrel, etc, ground, tree or air. Give a decent range, hit hard, whilst still holding a sensible quantity of lead...just find them very useful and versatile. Works well for me and usually with 1/2 Choke! Quote Link to post
hairyarsedscotsman 0
i usally use 30g 7s for pluging rabbits and whatever. 1/2 choke Quote Link to post
Gimli 0
My choice is 32g size 6 with half choke, though 5s do the job, too. Edited June 29, 2008 by Gimli Quote Link to post
