dawnraider 2 Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 after 2 months of work my 2 year old failed racer is now an out n out field dog.from not even knowing her name she now works the lamp retrieves live to hand and has a perfect recall her only fault so far is she refuses to jump ,no matter how high any suggestions appreciated. pritch 335 Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 if the dog is kept in a pen get some battens put a couple across the door at say 8 &16 inches so it has to jump to get out & every time it does so you give it the command up then add another batten every few days increasing the height by 3 or 4'' it is usually just a matter of confidence hope this helps, good luck Pritch Quote Link to post
