jacob 28
a couple of days ago i planted some tobacco plants ive grown from seed , the leaves are about 4 inches long now , i thought they were picking up after putting em in ,but ive just inspected em and it looks like slugs or snails have a taste for em, theyve started to eat the outside leaves, so any good quick tips on keeping these slippery customers off em.thanks

trappa 518
Yep , a saucer of beer works , as does crushed eggshells. The song thrush is in a massive decline and the slug pellet has my finger firmly pointed to it. Keep it natural!!
mackem 27,516
A copper circle around the stem of a plant keeps them off for some reason
