colour development in kits

Recommended Posts

my litter are 16 days old and doing well,on inspection the majority are a silver grey, the jill is a dark polecate and the hobb a real nice white.do you think the kits will keep this silvery colour or will they develope into the more common polecat colouration, there are two in the litter with darker fur and three milky white.will try for some pics tomorrow as i have only just started to open the nest door to take a sneaky look.

To be honest theres no real way of knowing for sure , they change so quickly as they grow, i guess the lighter ones could be the lighter polecat marked ferrets :)
