RichardC18 0
Hi all, I'm just wondering as a source of fresh meat would it be ok to feed my ferrets liver everyday? I thought it would be ok but my dad said it might be too rich if i feed it to them everyday. . all comments appreciated Richard Quote Link to post
stubby 175
not just liver on its own, I use the liver from the whole rabbit thats fed to them, which may therefore be shared between 6 plus ferrets, but would'ent recomend it as the only food offered Quote Link to post
paddy.t 5
i give mine some as a treat now again and they love it, its like ferret nip to them allthough i don't give them milk or eggs ect.. Quote Link to post
andy s410c 61
Liver is high in Vitamin A & if fed as a staple feed it can cause problems with growth hormones in youngsters.I only give mine rabbit livers occasionally but i always give them the kidneys & hearts... Quote Link to post
