Hi all, I'm just wondering as a source of fresh meat would it be ok to feed my ferrets liver everyday? I thought it would be ok but my dad said it might be too rich if i feed it to them everyday. . all comments appreciated

not just liver on its own, I use the liver from the whole rabbit thats fed to them, which may therefore be shared between 6 plus ferrets, but would'ent recomend it as the only food offered

i give mine some as a treat now again and they love it, its like ferret nip to them allthough i don't give them milk or eggs ect..

Liver is high in Vitamin A & if fed as a staple feed it can cause problems with growth hormones in youngsters.I only give mine rabbit livers occasionally but i always give them the kidneys & hearts...

Well i never give them pork dunno about ferts but it aint good for dogs.

Heard the pork one before but never tried it ,feeding too much liver is bad for them once a week is plenty for liver
