bird 10,013
You want to keep taking it everyday, try some training by the sheep, with the dog on the lead first. If the dog is ok, just a couple of short recall's, keep doing this . When you are happy with this, try longer recalls if still ok good. You want to train , throw a ball all by the sheep. As i said the dog as got to be interested in you and nothing else. I have been taking my pup by stock, for the last 7 months. You want to be 100% sure, its the only way. BIRD Quote Link to post
undisputed 1,664
Yip deff needs to be done on a regular basis...another way is to sit on the opposite side of a field with cattle and them being curious creatures will wander over to investigate just keep dog on lead and reassure him if he gets anxious about the attention he's getting....good luck!
