lurchergrrl 1,441
Just a quick question for those of you in the Spectacle Brigade. I'm in the market for new specs as my dog chewed up the last pair. I figured I'd head off to Specsavers this weekend as they seem to have decent deals but just wondered if there's a different place anyone would recommend? The last pair I bought in Canada so haven't really dealt with any of the places here yet. Cheers.
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Got my first (last) pair from Vision Express. They seemed very good, though I have no comparison to view them against.

proper job 1
I have recently had to get reading glasses, nothing wrong with my long vision, it was Specsavers for me and very good they were too, but you only get the two for one deal if you buy frames over £75. And if anyone out there is suffering from headaches and blurred vision when you're on the pc or reading, get some glasses, I wish I'd gone 2yrs ago.
lurchergrrl 1,441
I've got a budget of about £140 or so .... and I'm after a 2 for 1 deal. With those fancy lenses that adjust in sunlight I can't see long distance. Snoop keeps pointing out bunnies in fields and then cackling and saying "you can't see 'em can you" And he's right, I can't Has anyone ever gone to the Boots one? This all saves me having to shop round with three maniac toddlers in tow
