Chin up mate, let's hope he's looking for a way out of there. Mate of mine lost his dog after going to ground while boar hunting, 8 days later he had a phonecall from a farmer in that area. Dog was laying in front of the stove for 3 days, a boardriver recogniced the dog when he was visiting there. :whistling:

lost mine for three days no mark from locator ,no sound from dog thought he was dead too. dropped three 16 ft digs into bank and found him on last dig 16 ft down and 9 ft in at bottom ,put some drainage rods down with mk1 collar taped onto it ,found him he,d dug himself in tight not even a yap out of him ,fox was still a good way up tube

so dont give up on him yet, better still get him out dead or alive

:clapper: WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME 3 DAYS TO DIG THAT HOLE NEVER MIND 3 OF THEM !!!! GREAT FEELING WHEN YOU FIND THEM THO :D

MY BICTH ALWAYS TRIES TO GET BACK IN EVEN AFTER 14 HOURS( NOWHERE NEAR 3 DAYS). GLAD YOU GOT HIM OUT, HE LOOKS NON THE WORSE FOR IT. :thumbs:

What did ya use there a kangoo hamer whats all the brick work on the side as in was the holes already there?

its clay mate for first eight foot ,just looks like old brick :D then sand all the way after that ,still took some diggin though ,had some help from the local doggin lads ,which was much appriciated,but the right result at the end we all went home happy ,he a young dog and that was only his second try he kept diggin on but not clearing out as he went ,so must have been stuck good

That is really good news: did he disappear from your home or were you out digging when he disappeared? and did he come back home or was he found somewhere: just interested to hear how you got him back.
