Squirrel_Basher 17,100
On a visit to Dumfrithshire 2year ago ,I saw some tiny deer tracks and pointed them out to the stalker. He assured me they were of a roe fawn but having seen muntjac prints on a daily basis around my place I begged to differ. The last day of our stalking ,one of the other newly arrived guests saw a munty from the cabin window .The stalker was adament that no muntjac were that far north. On our way back down south we called in to a pub and got talking to the landlord about deer. The subject of muntjac was raised and where Id seen the slots and he explain that he knew the estate and that the stalker was under instruction from his employer to shoot muntys on sight .Its no wonder he played the sightings down!
