I need a pair of Digging Boots badly, as my ones are done.

 

Anyone recommend a pair?

for digging in you will struggle to beat haix tibet forest boots.They are probably a bit too stiff and heavy for general mooching about but for digging in they are the dogs balls.

i know their not suitable but a countrywide farmers store sale leaflet came in local paper fortnight ago and they had regatta ridgeline walking boots reduced from £40 to £20 both me and missus had a pair ideal for tramping through forest of dean.

STHIL the chainsaw people do some cracking boots.

I recently purchased a pair from our local dealer and am well pleased with em !

They're a bit hard on your feet at first but after two or three mornings out are perfect.

Got em just before that bad snow at christmas so they had a good test !

Cost me £85 but you can tell they're gonna last years.

If you are after the best , then you probably need to go German , I know .....I know!!!!!!....But they are one of best makers of boots on the planet......Look for 'Lowa' or 'Hanwag' , there are some others but those two are the main manufacturers of military combat boots......£130 - £160 though , but the best.

yes mate they are the boots i was talking about.The sizes are large,i take a nine but my haix boots are eights, so the size twelve may fit you.

wellies easier to clean off to reduce forensics and also easier to disinfect thats for digging what i prefer.

Hoggs of Fife sell them and I believe they have a web site, but don't buy them from there, they are 40 quid dearer than the boot shop in Halifax where I got mine from.
