Simoman 110
I wouldn't know if a dog would lose speed but surely you wouldn't want to breed a young dog until it had been tested? Also I'm sure you mean staffy not pit as they are banned Just a thought but wouldn't a saluki/Greyhound x bull/greyhound be able to do it all anyway? Quote Link to post
tophunter 0
not too young about 2 year old and yes they can do it but i would like to no how the pups come out some people might have bred the same sort of dogs as iam asking thanks Quote Link to post
skinnyrat 0
2 year old is far too young, its only had 1 season under its belt, and certainly not been worked hard enough to see if its good enough,if you need another dog,buy a pup, rather than burden the lurcherworld with another ill concieved litter, good luck Quote Link to post

You should be working that dog this coming season every oppertunity. Test it to the full and see where it excels and where it lacks before you decide what to add to it and what you are prepared to lose from a cross. We had a dog recently which we thought was a world beater but when he was coming up to 31/2 he lost his bottle one night and didnt regain it.My only consolation was i hadnt used him at stud.Dont forget the seasons just around the corner.
