duck 0
hello everyone been out this evening with coney weather was spot on sunny with a breeze. it was the first time coney has been on this permission, as we went on the fields and we got closer to the rabbits, the rabbits ran up the hill as always, so we made our way through the trees to the fence at the top field, there was coneys first rabbit nice head shot, so we got over the fence and walked to the top of that field saw a rabbit in the wooded area ,it saw us ran a bit then stopped got my sights on it bang it's dead (head shot). as we made our way to the other side of the feied we popped our heads over the wall and saw another one bang (head shot). we then headed to the middle of the field and laid in wait for them coming out, i saw one come out it was still within the fence took aim then all i heard was a bang coney had shot it before me i was gutted(but that's the way it goes) any way we went over to it but it had rolled down the bank and into the warren, gutted i hate it when that happens, so we walked around the field back to the wall saw another rabbit it was some size (pregnant) i took aim bang (another head shot) it went in the nettles managed to retrieve it, coney had seen some rabbits on the other field he was taken aim but they had gone into hiding. it was like that all night and we managed to get 10 but only bagged 7. hope you enjoyed this story of our outing heres some pics to go with the evening regards the duck Quote Link to post

Coney 3
Well done girls good shooting P.S NOT LIKE CONEY TO TAKE SOMEONES SHOT and by the way happy 50th birthday coney for yesterday.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's not an air of discontent in your post there "goldencrust" just because you are on nightshift and can't get out for a mooch???.......and as for taking other people's shots I am afraid it's down to spending too much time shooting with you because as you know it's always "you have a shot at that one " ( 40+ yards away) and "I'll have the next one" ( 20 feet away at the most )....and by the way my birthday was last month when we were all in Hamburg for the weekend!!......OOPS sorry forgot you were'nt there because your lass would'nt let you go.....Ha!! Burnout Baby!!!!!! Your old chum Coney. Quote Link to post
