Been there with the loading dilema..it just takes getting used to.After a couple of plinking seshs you,ll be fine just don,t push more pellets up the barrel. You can take the mag out to fire the first pellet you,ve pushed up the barrel it would,nt harm the gun.It will be second nature to you in no time.... :gunsmilie:

its simple, when you pull the bolt back, you'll feel like its gone back far enough, well it has'ent now is the time you have to give it that extra little pull, listen and your hear it click, then push forward and down, its locked and loaded, as already mentioned, if you pull the trigger, and nothing happens :icon_redface: , pull the bolt back half way, remove the mag, carry on pulling back, till you hear the click, then push the bolt home without the mag, it'll fire like a single shot, it doe's take a bit of getting used to, most people that try my TDR S410 end up doing the same as you

andy know when i load the magazine with the ten pellets do you pull the bolt all the way back to cock it and then place the cartridge into the gun and the push the bolt into the pellet or do i pull the bolt half way just enough to get the cartridge into place and then pull the bolt all the way back, its spinning me out when it loads two pellets..thanks

its up to you, you can as you say, pull the bolt back enough to load the mag, then leave it un cocked and un loaded, but this can then lead to missed shots, when you forget to cock before aiming at your quarry, far better to arrive at your permission, get set up, insert the mag, and pull it back to the click and load a pellet, then just put the safety on, then while walking/stalking if you see something, you only have a slight movement of taking the safety off, rather than lots of movent to lock and load, get into the habit of re loading after each shot, before moving off or collecting shot quarry,

when leaving your permission, always remember to fire off the loaded pellet and remove the mag if it still has pellets in it, and store it seperatley from the rifle
