Most likely a wader of some sort, mate. Oh; Edited to say; Or maybe a Tern? Letting the people know the exact habitat (no one needs the Location) it was found in might help clinch it with more certainty.

Though I'm sure a few of the guys on here will know it at a glance ~ some f*cking disturbing blokes on here! :icon_eek:

Oh right! Damn! Ye lucky sod! I'd give my bottom teeth to be able to record a waders nest - just about Any damn wader ~ Though I'd especially love to come up with a Snipe or Curlew just now as I have them round here and the BTO is especially asking for them.

I take it then that she was just a typical " Wader " - absolutely nothing about her that would distinguish her from a dozen others; Without a trained eye and glass? Bugger. I'm gagging to know what it is now! :D

Wats; Let's just clear one thing up here: Ye DO know a Lapwing? I mean, this wasn't birds with broad, round ended wings, was it? They weren't flying around, dipping low and screaming " VEEEEE!!! " ?

Just to get rid of the 'obvious'.
