gnipper 6,467
Shame the dirty b*****ds can't be baited out, brag about a dog and then wire up its kennel to the mains or lie in wait or something. Its a shame the dogs are so good natured and they don't rip chunks out of the tw@s, I wouldn't advise picking my terrier up the little c**t'd ave ya Quote Link to post
lucky 578
it seems its not only a lot of dogs that are getting nicked....but horses too, there seems to be a fair few gone missing over the last year or so....there must be a market for them aswell.... Quote Link to post
Symon 0
i keep a eye out round my way i no how it feels i got my 3/8 bully greyhound stolen a year ago but never found or seen him since rang the police they just gave me a code to ring wat a load of shit let them try now theifs skanky shits they wont there hands cutting off bought the dog 4 my girlfriend she has always liked 3/8 bullys so thought i would suprise her and got her a pup he was superb would of made a great lamping dog because i love lamping plus the misses dus in the same week 4 other lads in the midlands got there dogs stolen and all the police could do was say were looking wat a load of shit Very true mate I am affraid the Police: always there when you don't need them never there when you do, and when you do get them there they do FxxK all IF EVERY MEMBER ON THESE SITES LOOKS AROUND THEIR OWN AREAS AND ALSO ASKS AROUND EVERYONE THEY KNOW IN WORKING DOGS, THAT SHOULD COVER EVERY AREA HERE AND ACROSS THE WATER.SOMEONE IS SELLING A LOT OF GOOD WORKING DOGS. EVEN WORSE SOMEONE IS BUYING STOLEN WORING DOGS AND COVERING UP FOR THE SCUM. ANYONE BUYING A ADULT DOG OR PUP WITHOUT CHECKING THE HISTORY, IS ENCOURAGING THESE STEALING SCUM, AND ARE WORSE THAN THE STEALING SCUM. WORK ON, IF THERES NO PROVEN HISTORY WITH A STUD DOG, MOTHER TO PUPS OR PUP ITS STOLEN AND WALK AWAY AND INFORM OTHERS. I agree that if more people look and ask around in their area and who they know! This would be a great help in narrowing down and locating the thieving scum who are responsible for doing this. I would like to think that most of you here would do the same for me! I am up in Cumbria and north Wales next week for a week, so have made some notes off here and will ask around every one I know for you. These b*****ds could be anywhere and linked to god knows who and in who knows what area! So let’s get together and cover some more ground. It only takes a few minutes to explain and could be the missing link to tracking some stolen dogs! And the feckin gits responsible and the buyers! cos as already mentioned here, they are just as bad if not worse. Edited June 23, 2008 by Symon Quote Link to post
DogPaddle 0
Yep, I hate to agree, but the cops really can't (won't) do anything. Had difficulty here with my dogs "mysteriously" dying, and I couldn't afford to pay the police. Quote Link to post
jessdale 416
I have just spoken to the guy again and,as we all would be,he is absolutly distraught with this theft. He mentioned an idea,to get stolen dogs back, that just might work.A LOT of working terriers have been stolen in this area so it must be the same gang involved. These scum are not nicking dogs for the breeding of the dogs or for thier own sport,no they are stealing them to sell on ,money is thier only motivation .There is a large cash reward on offer for information regarding these dogs but what would happen if it was a VERY LARGE reward?,would one of these people then be tempted to come forward with a name and address of the person that is organising these thefts?.Some good lads have had dogs stolen in the past, there are still a lot missing, so would it be worthwhile people donating a few quid,to make up a GOOD reward,to get this stopped once and for all?.What are your thoughts on this?would it work?,would YOU chuck in a few quid?.Would any terrier clubs get involved in this scheme?.Any thoughts on this,or possible donations, please ring steve on 07970280940. dynamoio 0
Fooking travelling Pikeys! A woman I work with just had a scare. Thought she was missing a horse, but they didn't have time to load, just got away with some scrap and tools. I didn't realise it was such problem till she told me this gang just follow the horse markets round the UK, IE and France and nick and sell, and any scrap and dogs they can get is extra cash. The $hit thing is, we've more to lose, anyone fancy withdrawal of FAC / SG certs or an ASBO etc for these pricks? Plod don't like the vigilantes even more then they don't like thieving pikeys which is totally ar$e about face! I'll keep an eye out and ear to the ground in the Herefordshire / Powys boarder area. I'd put money in. But we need to find the dealers and buyers of stolen working dogs to stop this trade. If they cannot sell working dogs, they will not steal them. £££s motivate stealing scum and the dealers. Owning a ready made working dog the easy way, motivates the buyers! Quote Link to post
smelly dog 16
I heard it was 5 dogs in total.I would be willing to bet that its the same lads as did AN's and LM's Trouble is, until someone does something serious they will continue..... I know a stolen dog was re-found in someones house a couple of years ago...he "got it from a man in a pub"...even though he is a known dog thief...and the lads didnt do a thing with him....he should have been made to tell who he got the dog off.....obviously he was the "looker-after" for someone else....but he was allowed to get away with it.....bet he knows about these dogs just gone now..... they are SCUM.... Post #1 Pleased to hear that BUSHINGBOYS Hound crosses were found up for sale at Watton fair. The arseholes who had them up for sale had quite a few terriers there as well .Police were involved so some others might be as lucky as Callum Donnyc did Callum not get names of these scum. What happened to the terriers they had with them? What did police do? Edited June 24, 2008 by smelly dog Quote Link to post

waz77 15
I'd be happy to donate if it were to put a stop to it....but.....like as been said these feckers are in it purely for the money and offering cash rewards might just make matters worse...if people stopped buying working dogs and offering cash rewards there would be no money in stealing dogs and the feckers would lose interest.Im pretty sure the police round here have a very good idea who is involved, but they're not gona tell us. If there is going to be a large reward it would have to be for information leading to the thieves rather than the return of any missing dogs,in which case i would give a good sum to the cause Quote Link to post

Part of me thinks offering more money as reward may just lure them out! But I also think that offering more money may just give these shites more motivation and thefts will ultimately go up! It’s hard to call No, the only way is to set these buggers up you gotta catch em red handed. Like a mass organised team consisting of every one on here that lives in the area and everyone they know all in on it together to get the feckers. Maybe triangulate known instances on a map and try to work out a kind of hot spot based on the information gathered. Door to door calls in the neighbour hood take time but many hands make for light work, late night stores and off licences, 24 hour garages! Maybe someone saw something maybe some lads with dogs! Loading dog's into a van or something! Maybe they stopped to fill up in a garage and cctv picked em up! I know this sounds a bit starsky & hutch but me and my mates did this sort of thing years ago to a group of wan ers nicking car stereos. we set up an RS turbo with all our kit speakers/amp and such then parked the car in said area and low and behold they came and we had em! We got a lot of stuff back plus some names. It never happened in our area again. I would put money up to raise cash for helping set something like this up! It’s just a case of putting a nice juicy bone out for some low life scum and sooner or later they will try and grab it and when they do you’ll have your thieving scum! we are not talking one dog here guy's this is mulipule dogs at a time. Set em up and they will come Quote Link to post

Set em up and they will come I would agree. I have very little experience with cops in GB but I would imagine that they are not that different from the ones over here, and here they won't do anything unless they have to, or if they are paid to. We have to catch the thieves on video, then threaten the cops that we will go to the media in order to motivate the police. Since some people seem to be hesitant to put themselves in the way, perhaps setting a trap, like Symon suggested, with video surveillance is the way to go??? Just an idea of something that works here. Quote Link to post
