Recommended Posts

me and my mates are wanting to go away fishing for a few days we live in carlisle and would to travel 100 miles. does anyone no of any good course fishing lakes that allowe's night fishing

Castle Loch at Loch Maben used to, we used to go up there in the closed season in England. It's a good bream water, near to Caeverlock Wildfowl Trust. It's only about 40/50 miles from you tops. Enjoy if they still do it. Day ticket water too. HTH. Cheer, D.

Fished Loch Ken once only, got better pike but not as good bream. My first trip to Castle Loch I caught eleven bream to five and a half pounds when the record was just over nine pounds. I thought they were all like that! Cheers, D.
