It's a good bream water, near to Caeverlock Wildfowl Trust. It's only about 40/50 miles from you tops. Enjoy if they still do it. Day ticket water too. HTH. Cheer, D. Quote Link to post
stej 0 Posted June 25, 2008 Report Share Posted June 25, 2008 hello mate im from carlisle, im just getting into the pike fishing at the min, we go to castle loch or mill loch right next to it at lochmaben but a couple ov mates were at loch ken and had there selfs 6pike and 2 keep nets full of bream averageing 4 to 6lb so i would say lock ken is your best bet who are u anyway? Fished Loch Ken once only, got better pike but not as good bream. My first trip to Castle Loch I caught eleven bream to five and a half pounds when the record was just over nine pounds.
