skycat 6,173
I've only suffered from it since I lived in East Anglia: but some of my dogs get it too, mainly gunky eyes after they've been running through grass: all that pollen. When we were in Wales last weekend I never sneezed once: this area is supposed to be one of the worst in the country for allergies/hay fever and sinus problems. SportingShooter 0
I get it pretty bad and things are about to get worse when they start cutting the silage round here heavily. I have prescription tablets from the GP but they seem to have littel effect, that or I have become immune to them by now, I am seriously considering having the injection either this year or perhaps next. Curse of many im sure and the sooner a cure of some sort is invented the better. Regards SS

SNAP SHOT 194
i've suffered from hayfever for about 5 years now and i get it bad, So tried everything, and that didn't work and cost a fortune. then in the pharmacy one day i was told to try claratin, and flixonase combined for one week taking one tablet in the morning followed by two squirts up each nostril with flixonase. then on weeks two and onwards take only the flixonase in the morning whenever you get up a DO NOT skip a dose any day till the hayfever season is finished........i have to say it's working great for me. Malt 379
A bloke I used work for used to suffer terribly when he was younger. He had a jab off the doc, & he never suffered again. He said shortly after he had it, the jab was banned, as it was linked to a line of deaths due to heart failure! His brother was too late trying to get it, & he still suffers terribly. I think it's a different jab now, that you have once a year. This was one jab you used to have, & you were sorted for life.
